Account Manager - Global Real Estate Software Company

This client offers enterprise software applications and hosted solutions that support real estate property owners, investors, and managers in operating their real estate property management businesses and maximising the returns on their diverse global business portfolios. The company are one of the largest globally in their field and are now looking at an aggressive growth phase here in Australia.


WHATS INVOLVED IN THE ROLE
  • Manage a complex sales cycle of the clients software products and associated services to all types of customers (commercial, residential, and corporate) for an assigned territory;
  • Manage entire assigned territory from a sales and relationship perspective;
  • Grow license revenue and recurring revenue in assigned territory;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with all customers in assigned territory;
  • Proactively call and meet regularly with all customers and prospects in territory;
  • Present and demonstrate this clients products and other technology solutions to prospects, customers, and user groups / trade association meetings in territory;
  • Create written price quotes, respond to information requests, negotiate pricing and contractual terms;
  • Develop and implement integrated sales strategies in conjunction with other business units on shared opportunities;
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to Proactively identify and sell new opportunities;
  • Consistently meet or exceed annual sales goals;
  • Work with other departments to insure customer satisfaction in areas such as implementation, pricing, and invoicing;
  • Prepare and submit sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed opportunity, including prospects, for the territory;
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition;
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned;

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We are looking simply for someone who has a strong solution sales background with a background in either Software solutions or Real estate solutions. The role is a mix of new business sales and managing existing accounts so strong relationship building skills are key to this role.
