Currently in a strong growth period this global company is looking to hire a senior business development manager to help capture some more market share through new business acquisition sales. With centrally located offices in the CBD, health insurance and gym membership and some of the best training in the world, this software company are considered the best to work for in their field. This Nasdaq listed company values their employees and tries to create a healthy friendly working environment whereby the sales team work smart as opposed to working overly long hours.
WHAT'S INVOLVED IN THE POSITION
This is a strategic new business sales opportunity where you will will be targeting enterprise level customers in central Sydney. You will need to control the sales from start through to finish. The sales cycle can be anything from 3 months to 1 year so requires someone with the patience to deal with longer term sales cycles. The role requires a strong ability to maintain and nurture business relationships along with the ability to know when to close the sale.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 - 5 years business development experience in the software space or IT solutions space. If you have been an account manager but with part of your KPI's in new business then we would also like to hear from you. You should be someone who is self managed and motivated however you will be given all the sales tools and training necessary.
