Role: We are looking to add a new team member to support the growth of the Asian Institutional Desk, APAC.
Based in Sydney, the desk is responsible for providing customised FX solutions to corporate and institutional businesses to Business Clients in Australia, China and other Asian countries.
Responsibility: The associate acts a strong support to the operations of the desk, including:
- Learn and support the operations of the Asian Institutional desk
- Liaising with internal departments
- Communicating with affiliates and partners
- Engaging with external service providers
- Research and prepare marketing materials
- Prepare periodical business analysis
- Assist with achieving and exceeding team KPIs and targets
- Absolute adherence to company compliance and regulatory requirements and guidelines
Accountability: - Reports to the Sales Manager
- Accountable to monthly targets set by the Sales Manager
- Accountable to supply excellent customer service and competent knowledge of the company's products and services
- Accountable to follow requisite compliance procedures during business development activities with prospective clients
- Accountable to fellow staff members, and work in coordination to support the company as a whole
Experience/ Requirements: - Bachelor degree or above, major in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Commerce or International Business is desirable
- Substantiated interest in company's services and products, financial markets, the SME and corporate business sectors
- Strong interpersonal skills, professional deportment and familiar with team working environment
- Strong English and Mandarin verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- High degree of self-motivation and focus combined with effective organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work as a team player towards a specific sales goal
- Well versed in the usage of Microsoft Office products, Excel databases and CRM systems

- Set an example to other employees by actively demonstrating and promoting safe work methods
- Ensure that the working conditions under your control are safe and that potential safety concerns/issues are promptly acted upon
- Accept accountability for reporting all incidents, injuries and near misses
- Advise your manager if you believe you are unable to meet your obligations for WHS due to time or resources restrictions
- Support your Manager and your staff to meet their obligations under the Work Health Safety Policy
